John "Boomer" Tennett's history is probably the most tragic.  An explosives expert, Tennett lost his wife and daughter to a bomb that he failed to disarm in time.  Distraught, Boomer fell into depression, alcoholism, and even contemplated suicide.  Joe Colton brought Boomer into the Adventure Team because of their friendship from childhood.  Initially staying as far from explosives as possible, Boomer regained his confidence when he saved the team from a bomb similar to the one that killed his family.

 

First Appearance: Hunting of the Pride

"Boomer" is the bomb disposal figure.  His elaborate back story spawned from my need to justify including a figure so specialized in the Adventure Team.  As I continue, I will add more to the others stories, and maybe even tell the whole story about how "Boomer" came to the Adventure Team.
